Automatic balance collection

Use Zalify Downpay to collect remaining balances after fulfillment.

How Zalify tracks balances

When a customer pays a deposit, Zalify records the deposit amount, remaining balance, and Shopify payment mandate for the order.

Collect the remaining balance

1. Fulfill the order in Shopify Admin.
2. Zalify submits the remaining balance charge through Shopify.
3. After Shopify marks the order paid, Zalify marks the balance collected.

If an order still shows pending

Confirm the Shopify order has a vaulted payment mandate and check the balance status for failed or missing mandate errors.
